The
'holey wall', as it is fondly known, takes pride of place
in Broughty Ferry's newly renovated children's play area.
The
stainless steel circles
and poles were designed
by Little Ironies to compliment the existing mosaic work.
The steelwork is decorated with waves and fishes to continue
the seaside theme that spans both sides of the mosaic wall
The Japanese verse "The surface of the water mirrors
many things" winds its way across the stainless
steel circles, with the author's name credited in Japanese
haiku within one of the stainless steel circles
Fabricated
from stainless steel and designed with safety in mind -
the gaps between metalwork were sized between 15-100mm and
safety bolt covers have been used throughout
