"Lifes'
Little Ironies.."
Joanne
Moody graduated in Interior Architecture and relocated to
Scotland in 1999. An intrigue in materials and techniques
commonly associated with industrial engineering, led her to
complete professional welding and fabrication qualifications
and specialise in metal work design. After completing a Postgraduate
Diploma in Entrepreneurship and significant interest in Joanne's
exhibited work, Little Ironies was born
Since then the Little Ironies portfolio has expanded to offer
a diverse range of commissioned and limited edition pieces
for both corporate and private clients.
The desire for 'something unique' as wedding table decorations
combined with the belief that designer items could be recyclable
and reused lead to the introduction of a metal work hire service
Joanne's
inspirations come from many sources but she has a keen interest
in projects which present the opportunity and challenge to
form a continuity with an existing language, whether that
be a corporate image, existing architecture, pallet of materials,
landscape or cultural tradition
